Australia, 1930 Penny - Grades PCGS VF30.
Amongst Australian coins, the 1930 penny is in a category of its own. Its rarity, mystery, and public recognition have made it far more than just a key date penny. With only a very small number believed to have been struck, possibly through trial production or an unintended minting, it remains one of the defining prizes of Australian coin collecting. The present coin is in original condition, with unique colouration on both ‘verses, and a small edge aberration at 2 o’clock on the reverse. On the obverse, it has six pearls and half centre diamond. A wholly pleasant coin, and an ideal addition to a penny collection or connoisseur’s portfolio.
