Pre-decimal proofs from Fiji are rare, and were generally minted in tiny numbers. The example photographed above is the single-finest graded by PCGS (6/16), and one of the nicest examples I’ve seen on the open market generally. Certainly as rare as some of Australia’s pre-1955 proofs, although one-fifth of the price.
